The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli congratulated the graduating students on their completion of school, wished them success and expressed hope that the generation with new experiences, new development perspectives and responsibilities will create a special future.
"My young friends, congratulations on one of the most important events of your life - graduating from school. You have probably thought many times about your last moments at school - a precise moment when you leave these walls and step into a completely new and exciting phase of your life. However, the unprecedented challenges facing all of humanity now has separated you from your peers, dear friends, and teachers.
Despite everything, you were able to cope with the challenges that came with distance learning and now have graduated like winners.
In these conditions, our main task was to ensure the continuity of the learning process. Perhaps today, as never before, the importance of this task has become clear, because it is only with knowledge, education, and science, that we can overcome these obstacles.
And already from tomorrow, when an overabundance of new perspectives open up in front of you, you are the main architect of a better future. With the urge to deepen your knowledge, with the readiness to conquer challenges, equipped with innovative approaches, we must lead our own destiny, the destiny of our country and humanity.
So, a whole new phase in your life begins - with new experiences, relationships, friends, new development perspectives and responsibilities.
You are a distinguished generation and I believe you will create a special future!" The Minister addressed the students.
Today, on May 20, the studies for the 12th grade students is over. However, their interests as entrants will be taken into account and special lessons will be held for them on “TV School” until June 15, 2020.
