The President of Georgia opened new Caucasian French School. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and Ambassador of Republic of France to Georgia Erik Fournier attended school opening ceremony.
French School is based on the French educational system. Georgian language will be taught in all forms. The school is encouraged by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of France. Kindergarten will operate in Caucasian French School as well. It is notable that only one grade will be formed at each level. Locally employed French teachers and small number of school children (16-18 school children in one form, totally, 240-270 school children) will give guarantee of high quality.
Opening of kindergarten and all forms of primary school as well as 6th, 7th and 8th grades of the secondary school is planned in 2010—2011 academic years.
Necessary teaching space is provided in the building that In compliance with European standards. Gyms and open stadiums, swimming pool of 25m, rooms for music and art classrooms, large library, video and assembly halls and cafeteria function in the building.
Diploma of Caucasian French School is recognized by France and all European states. This gives the graduates opportunity to continue studying in leading higher educational institutions of the world.
