Complete renovation was carried out in the first public school of Ozurgeti. In September, the school, along with 19 other public schools in the region, will receive students and their teachers in a completely renovated environment. A modern technology and innovation center are also being built on the school premises. Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia got acquainted with the renovation process together with Zurab Nasaraia, Guria State Representative.
Two public school buildings for 1000 students have been completely renovated. The building is completely adapted for people with disabilities. Students now have access to study halls, modern laboratories, school library, school canteen, assembly hall and a gym.
The launch of an innovation center on the school grounds will enable the youth of Guria to study, use their free time wisely and master modern technologies.
Ozurgeti Public school also actively cooperates with the local vocational college - "Horizon". With the start of the new academic year, students will be able to try new vocations such as: culinary, IT, Engineering and so forth.
