An open day was held at Kobuleti Vocational College "New Wave".
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Tamar Kitiashvili and the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Maia Khajishvili.
The process of registration for vocational programs at the New Wave College is currently in progress.
This year, the school offers up to 30 courses for students such as: construction, tourism, agriculture, information technology and other areas.
For the first time this year, the college will accept students with basic education (9th grade diploma), and in turn offer full general education in conjunction with mastering a specific vocation.
Despite the pandemic, the college's partner private sector continues to actively participate in dual programs and offer its students the possibility to both study and be employed simoultenously.
From the start of the new academic year, the college will offer its students a fully upgraded infrastructure. The interior and exterior of the institution are being currently renovated, and modern training workshops and laboratories are being set up on the premises.
