Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini took two visually impaired entrants – Tamar Kalandadze and Bachana Margvelashvili to Georgian Technical University in order to pass the registration. Minister also attended the registration of the second session.
1,424 entrants attended the first session at Georgian Technical University. Among them were two convicts. 48 registered entrants did not attend the first exam, one entrant was late. 1,418 entrants applied for the second session.
On July 1, at 09:00 a.m. the first session began in 14 examination centers of 12 examination cities of Georgia. 8,803 entrants were registered for the first exam throughout the whole Georgia. 335 of them did not come. In Tbilisi, 3 entrants were not allowed at the exam, because they were late.
On July 1, at 15 p.m. the second session began.
