An open day was held at Mermisi Vocational College. College representatives provided information to interested individuals about the College's vocational programs, as well as the registration process, testing, and further employment opportunities. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Tamar Kitiashvili.

For the first time this year, people with a basic education wishing to study, have a unique opportunity to master the integrated programs of web technologies and hotel services, after which they will receive a diploma equal to the school diploma and continue their studies in higher education.

The College also offers vocational training / retraining programs and various short-term certification courses to interested parties: To meet the needs of the adult population, and to promote employment and career advancement, the College launched seven short-term vocational training / retraining programs for the first time this year. Graduates will receive a state-recognized certificate. Additionally, based on the agreement signed with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Georgia, the college will conduct nine training courses in 2020.

Mermisi College has been operating since 2012 and is one of the leading vocational education institutions in Georgia, where more than 1,500 students receive education every year. It is noteworthy that the college has an accessible learning environment to ensure quality vocational education reaches individuals with special educational needs and disabilities.
