An active work continues on the concept of the National Agency for Vocational Skills to strengthen public-private partnerships in vocational education in Georgia. Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia together with Giorgi Pertaia, President of the Chamber of Commerce held a workshop with the heads of business support organizations.
The main concept of the National Agency for Vocational Skills was presented during the meeting, which was developed with the active involvement of the Ministry and the private sector. The role, responsibilities and working principles of each participant in the process were also discussed.
During the meeting, the parties agreed on key approaches to maximize the representation of the interests of the private sector in the process of establishing and functioning of the Skills Agency.
