The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli opened the student educational exhibition - "Choose France", which aims to popularize French higher education and research in Georgia.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli noted that the educational exhibition is a wonderful opportunity for Georgian students to seek scholarships and trainings both in France and in Georgia. According to the Minister, France is one of the best choices for getting a high-quality education where students will be able to learn and live in a multicultural environment, acquire new knowledge and improve their much-needed skills.
"Investing in quality education is indeed the best investment. Getting a high-quality education is a great opportunity in life." - stated Mikheil Chkhenkeli, noting that the global pandemic has prevented young people from getting quality education and intercultural experience. Nevertheless, through joint efforts, it is possible to gradually return to classrooms if relevant health protocols and safety rules are in place.
In his speech, the Minister thanked the French Government for the long and fruitful cooperation in the field of education and science and emphasized that a clear illustration of a successful joint project and collaboration between the two countries, is the French-Georgian University.
The student educational Fair - "Choose France" was attended by about 30 French higher education institutions, including prestigious institutions such as Sciences Po, the Ecole Polytechnique, the University Paris-Saclay, as well as engineering schools, culinary schools and various language schools.
