Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation organized an online posting conference, in which the winners of the 2019 Scholarship Competition for Young Scientists participated and presented their scientific-research achievements.

The conference was opened by the General Director of the Foundation, Jaba Samushia and spoke about the importance and goals of the competition and the need to encourage young scientists.

The winners of the competition are as follows: Niko Ketskhoveli Scholarship in Natural Sciences, Giorgi Chkadua, Ekvtime Takaishvili Scholarship in Georgian Studies, Nikoloz Aleksidze, Ivane Beritashvili Scholarship in Science, Medical Sciences and Social Sciences, David Sarajishvili Scholarship in Agricultural Sciences, Irakli Janashia, Ivane Javakhishvili Scholarship in Humanities, Luka Nakhutsrishvili and Alexander Kartvelishvili Scholarship in Engineering and Technology.

As part of the competition, young researchers shared their knowledge and experience with teachers and students, conducted popular science lectures in general education institutions, and gave presentations on recent scientific advances at the conference.
