The presentation of the joint study of the European Training Foundation (ETF) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) "Inclusive Skills for Development of Innovative Enterprises in the Agricultural Sector after COVID-19" was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science.
At the online event, international experts involved in the project and public and private sector representatives from participating countries (Georgia, Morocco, Serbia, Turkey, Uzbekistan) discussed the challenges, opportunities, opportunities for innovation in the agribusiness sector and the development of new skills in the industry. Stakeholders shared their experiences to promote the development of the sector.
In her speech, Tamar Kitiashvili spoke about the steps taken in response to the damage caused by the pandemic in vocational education, the development of new labour skills and the international experience and support that contributes to the development of one of the most priority areas for our country - agriculture. According to him, agriculture is the first sector in Georgia, which was able to unite 12 sectoral associations under the umbrella of the Sector Skills Organization (duo), which will contribute to the rapid development of new skills in the field.
