Horizon Europe Grant Office will be opened at Gori State Teaching University, which will help improve the success rate of Georgian scientists in the grant competitions of the EU. It should be noted that this will be the ninth grant office in Georgia.
Within the framework of the project "Science Calendar - 2021", the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Nunu Mitskevichi visited Gori University, where preparations are underway to open a grant office. Khvicha Tsenguashvili, a student of the Tbilisi Academy of Arts, paints the European space according to his sketch.
Within the framework of the event, the University also hosted the students at Gori Art School and, in order to popularize science, offered them a master class in drawing. Khvicha Tsenguashvili introduced the students to the sketch preparation techniques and the specifics of wall painting and talked about the possibilities of expressing his thoughts in the drawing.
Nunu Mitskevichi addressed the youth and spoke about the need to popularize science in society and the importance of its development. The deputy minister together with the Rector of Gori University Giorgi Sosiashvili announced a drawing competition, which will be held within the project "Science Calendar - 2021" and will allow students of IX-XII grades to create works on science.
In order to popularize science, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is implementing the project "Science Calendar - 2021", with a slogan - Undique scientia est (science is everywhere). Within the framework of the project, several cognitive and entertaining activities are planned throughout Georgia. The cycle of events will last until the end of the year.
