The Mining Specialists will be Trained in Imereti
The Minister of Education and Science of
Georgia Dimitri Shashkini, the Governor of Imereti Region Lasha Makatsaria and
Rector of Georgian Technical University Archil Phrangishvili visited Tkibuli to
meet miners and upon the President’s task discussed the issue of opening Miners
Professional Education Institution in Tkibuli.
The guests got familiarized with situation in miners’ town and discussed the problems with miners. During the meeting was decided to open education institution for miners with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the governor’s office of Imereti region. The professional education institution will have special training courses for miners.
Working group will continue discussing the issues of location of the new education institution and curriculum of the courses. By the announcement of the Minister, during the development of the curriculum special attention should be paid to experience of miners and other specialists in the mining field.
