Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini visited the Peikrishvili family where 5 children live. Minister presented the twins Nino and Besik Peikrishvili with the textbooks. This year, they will go in the first form of the Public School №190. The third grader Tamar Peikrishvili who is the school child of this school received the textbooks personally from the Minister as well. Dimitri Shashkini presented other children of this family with the gifts.

For the first time this year, all vulnerable school children of 1-12 forms will receive the textbooks free of charge from the state. Peikrishvili family received the textbooks exactly in the scope of this program.

The state allocated 8 mln GEL in the framework of the program. The school children will receive the textbooks in their schools before the beginning of the academic year. These textbooks will be kept in the school libraries in the future and other vulnerable school children will be able to use them as well.
