The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, held a meeting with the Regional Director of the World Bank in the South Caucasus - Sebastian Molyneux. The parties reviewed the current joint projects and discussed future cooperation plans.
Giorgi Amilakhvari thanked Sebastian Molyneux for many years of fruitful cooperation and for several important projects that were implemented in the education system of Georgia with the support of the World Bank.
During his speech, the minister singled out two projects - "Georgia's human capital" and "Innovation, inclusiveness and quality - Georgia I2Q". According to Giorgi Amilakhvari, the mentioned projects are significantly important in terms of quality improvement and strengthening of human capital at all levels of education.
Minister Amilakhvari expressed his full readiness to enhance cooperation with the World Bank and stated that he will be personally involved in the implementation of joint projects.
