The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, along with First Deputy Aleksandre Tsuladze, hosted a farewell meeting with Enrico Valvo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy.
During the meeting, Giorgi Amilakhvari expressed his gratitude to Enrico Valvo for their fruitful collaboration and joint projects in the field of education. The Minister extended his best wishes for success in the Ambassador's future endeavours.
In return, Enrico Valvo thanked Giorgi Amilakhvari for their exemplary partnership and support in promoting the teaching of the Italian language in schools. The Ambassador specifically highlighted the Minister's decision to allow Italian language teachers the opportunity to take the subject test starting in 2023.
Both parties at the meeting expressed their hope that the enduring partnership between the two countries in the realm of education would continue to strengthen in the future.
