While on a working visit to Baku, Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, conducted a working meeting with Farid Gaibov, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Giorgi Amilakhvari briefed his counterpart on ongoing reforms within the Georgian education system and outlined planned initiatives for youth policy development. He highlighted that as of January 1, 2024, the Youth Agency's authority had been transferred to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, with several significant projects slated to support young people in the coming future. The minister emphasized that offering diverse services and hosting various events for young individuals stands as a key priority for the ministry.
Towards the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to collaborate on future joint youth projects. Farid Gaibov, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, wished Giorgi Amilakhvari success in implementing the planned endeavors and expressed readiness to extend support.
Also present at the meeting were First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Aleksandre Tsuladze, and Deputy Nodar Papukashvili.
