Working meeting was held between the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini and the President of Education Professional Syndicate, Tato Shavshishvili. Tato Shavshishvili introduced the proposals to the Minister that are planned to be implemented in cooperation with MES.
This time, Tato Shavshishvili responded to the school branding and school principals’ certification issues and stated that the Syndicate is ready to establish the consultation group. If the schools wish, this group will provide any school with assistance throughout Georgia in order to satisfy the requirements of MES for obtaining the stars.
Syndicate has a special offer for the willing school principals as well. After developing the Principals’ Standard by MES, Syndicate offers to give free trainings to the wiling principals and help them to master all necessary theory and practical skills that are necessary for achievements.
Dimitri Shashkini positively assessed the initiative of Education Professional Syndicate and underlined that involvement of the public unions in the process of educational reforms is very important.
