English language volunteer teachers who have arrived to Georgia in the scope of the program ,,Teach and Learn with Georgia” took part in the vintage together with the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini. The vintage was held at Kachreti Vocational Education and Training Center.
60 teachers from the USA, Canada, Australia, Great Britain and different European countries personally picked grapes and attended the process of making ,,Churchkhela”.
“I have heard a lot about Georgia, but reality is much more amazing. The Georgian hospitality and traditions are really remarkable. I am glad that I personally took part in the vintage” – noted the English language teacher Pitter Farrell.
By the announcement of Dimitri Shashkini, the English language teachers have been already integrated and got familiarized with Georgian traditions besides this short period of time. After returning to their countries foreign teachers will serve as Goodwill Ambassadors of Georgia, which is very important for our country.
