In the scope of NATO week, holding of information meetings on NATO continues in the Public Schools.
This time, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Koka Sepherteladze, NATO Public Diplomacy Division representative, Despina Afentouli and the Head of Information Center on NATO, Tengiz Gogotishvili visited Mtkheta Public School №2.
10th graders were given a lecture on the history of North-Atlantic Alliance, meaning of NATO and its aims.
“Integration in NATO is one of the top priorities of Georgia. Informing the youth on the Alliance is very important” – noted Koka Sepherteladze.
Representatives of the Information Center on NATO presented Mtskheta Public School №2 with the informational materials on NATO. All schoolchildren will be able to get familiarized with these materials.
