Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini attended the conference Euro-Atlantic Integration of Georgia: Role of International Society. Minister held a presentation on Investment in Georgian Human Capital for the attendants.
One of the main factors for the integration in Euro-Atlantic area is the education system complying European standards. Much resource is spent for the modernization of the field. It is necessary to give the youth education of an international level in order to accept modern challenges in the process of globalization” – noted Dimitri Shashkini in his speech.
Representative of Atlantic Council, Damon Wilson, USAID Deputy Mission Director, Ioakim Parker, Head of EUMM in Georgia, Hansjoerg Haber, Ambassadors of France and Germany to Georgia and international experts attended the conference.
Participants of the conference discussed following issues:”Challenges and Perspectives of Georgia in the Environment of Ongoing Reforms, “Coordination of the USA and European Policy towards Georgia”, “Support of Regional Cooperation/Stability”, “2008 August War Following Status-quo: Challenges and Perspectives”.
