Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini met the representatives of the Private School Association of European countries. The delegation was composed with the members of Union of Latvian Private Schools. The aim of the visit is to get familiarized with the ongoing educational reforms, sharing experience and discussing the possibility of Georgian Private School Association to become a member of Private School Association of European countries.
Foreign guests got interested in the recent innovations of MES that were introduced for ensuring quality education. In the scope of the visit, Latvian delegation visited several public and private schools and held working meetings with the representatives of the Centers operating under MES.
Latvians got particularly interested in the school branding, scheme of authorization and accreditation of the educational institutions and etc. Guests also discussed experience that is approved in the education area of the leading European countries.
Association of Latvian Private Schools will give recommendations to Georgian Association of Private Schools in order to become the full member of the Private School Association of European countries. Head of the Association of the Private Schools of Georgia and the Principal of the School-Lyceum “Mtsignobartukhutsesi”, David Kakhniashvili works on this issue.
