Another Group of English Language Teachers Arrived in Georgia
In the scope of the program Teach and Learn With Georgia, 8th group of foreign teachers arrived in Georgia. They will be distributed in Samtskhe-Javakheti region in order to teach the local schoolchildren English language.
English language teachers have already launched working in the Public Schools of Adjara, Guria, Samegrelo, Imereti, Rustavi and Tbilisi in the frame of the program.
In order to strengthen English language teaching, MES has been implementing the project Teach and Learn With Georgia since July, 2010. The project envisages recruiting 1,000 foreign teachers by the end of the year. Number of volunteer teachers will be increased in the next years.
Volunteer teachers have been already integrated in the society. They live in the local families free of charge. After finishing the project, English language teachers will serve as the Goodwill Ambassadors of Georgia across the world.
