First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Koka Sepherteladze and Director of the National Examination Center, Maia Miminoshvili introduced High School Exam model to around 200 12th graders of Vake-Saburtalo district and answered the schoolchildren’s questions.
Information about 2010-2011 High School exam was interesting for the children and an electronic sample of the test seemed easy for them.
Deputy underlined the meaning of “Abituri” hours at the meeting and noted that this year, High School exams will not be difficult as they will be held through the computer for the first time. If the schoolchildren maximally use the remained period and prepare for the exams, they will easily cross the minimal competency level in each subject. The result will be reflected in the concrete sign and not the mark. Evaluation of the computer program will not influence on the annual score and it will be unchanged.
According to Koka Sepherteladze, informational meetings with the 12th graders will be still held. They will receive answers on all questions that will support them during the preparation period.
