First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Koka Sepherteladze and Deputy Minister of Defence, Nika Dzimtseishvili awarded with certificates, diplomas and prizes the winners of the competition “My Army Protects Me”.
MES in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence held the art competition “My Army Protects Me” among the schoolchildren. The competition was held among the two age-groups - I-VI and VII-XII and covered three levels: school, regional and the final rounds. The schools presented two best paintings in the regional round. One of them was selected through the secret voting by one teacher and another - by the schoolchildren.
26 paintings won the regional round and authors were awarded with certificates. The winners were awarded with computers, diplomas and prizes in the final round: holder of the first place received 700 GEL, II place – 500GEL and III place – 300 GEL.
The ceremony was held in the Ministry of Defence where 39 best paintings were exhibited.
