Upon the initiative of the President of Georgia and the President of Armenia Olympics in Physics, Mathematics and Informatics was held in Erevan. 10 students took part in each subject from each side. Organization committee and jury were composed of Georgian and Armenian members. The competition tasks had also been formed jointly. The competition in Informatics was based on team work. Each team had two members. The competition in other disciplines was individual. The Olympics was held at Physics & Mathematics School in Erevan. After Appellation Process winners were announced.

Jemal Shengelia and Tornike Ghutiashvili won the second prize in Physics. There was no first prize winner in Physics.
6 best participants from each side were presented with personal computers by the president of Georgia and the president of Armenia on January 22, at technological park “Sinopsis”. 6 best participants from Georgian side were: Tsotne Tabidze, Giorgi Giglemiani, Tornike Abuladze, Jemal Shengelia, Tornike Ghutishvili and Lado Melikidze. Later that day, the winners were awarded with diplomas and other presents.
