Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini visited a new building of Tbilisi Public School № 198. 160 schoolchildren with special educational needs study there.

The new building of Public School № 198 meets all requirements of schoolchildren with special educational needs. LEGO technic toys room, play therapy room, psycho-social lab, adapted kitchen and open-door training center are located in the new building. From now on the school can serve schoolchildren and their parents from whole Tbilisi.

At Public School № 198 appropriate conditions did not exist for treatment, studying and adaptation of schoolchildren with special education needs. By the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia the school was renovated in order to meet the requirements of schoolchildren with special educational needs. Inclusive education is one of the top priorities of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
