Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini attended a presentation of education recognition manual at Georgian Technical University. Education recognition manual is a main document featuring information on foreign qualifications assessment criteria and procedures.
The manual will be useful for general, professional and higher educational institutions and for those persons who have received education abroad. Education recognition manual plays a major role in internationalization of education.
The document was developed jointly by Georgian and foreign experts, electronic version of the manual will be posted on the web sites of the Ministry of Education and Science and National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.
The event was held within the scope of a two day conference, where Georgian and foreign experts discussed the issues of recognition practices abroad and in Georgia.
Director of National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement David Kereselidze took part in the conference. Event was also attended by the representatives of higher educational institutions, French, Danish and Dutch experts.
