Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and Governor of Imereti Region Lasha Makatsaria visited Vocational College in Kutaisi. The college was fully reconstructed by Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and provided with up-to-date technical facilities.
Kutaisi Vocational College provides the students with the skills and knowledge that meet the requirements of modern labor market. College offers up to 22 learning programs and closely cooperates with the potential employers of the students.
1000 students will be trained at Kutaisi Vocational College this year as it will prepare: engine repairers, craftsmen, joiners, electricians, sewers, cooks, receptionists, hotel management specialists, masons, information technology technician-operators, shop assistants, cashiers, web technology operators.
According to the new concept of Vocational and Professional education, renewed vocational colleges will help to solve unemployment and deficit of qualified workforce. It will contribute to the overall growth of the economy as well.
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia plans to visit all vocational colleges to get familiar with their activities on site.
