The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and  the Governor of Imereti Region Lasha Makatsaria visited Miners Professional Education Institution in Tkibuli, which was founded on March 1^st in 2011 .

At this stage 120 students study in the Miners Professional Education Institution.

Experience of miners and other specialists in the mining field have been taken into account during the preparation of curriculum of the courses.

About 600 students from local community will be trained in mining, mountain engineering and in other mining fields at Miners Professional Education Institution in Tkibuli.

Upon the initiative of the President Mikheil Saakashvili, Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia with the support of governor’s office of Imereti region founded professional education institution.

Tkibuli Miners Company cooperates with the above mentioned educational institution. They provided the institution with the technical equipments. The company also offers paid internships to the students of Professional Education Institution.  Successful students will have an opportunity to be recruited at this company.
