From now on the schoolchildren of the public school №47 will have sport classes in a new gym. The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze visited the renovated gym and attended a final round of internal school competition in basketball.

24 sport leagues were formed after sport classes had been introduced and the competitions started to be held.

At public school №47 competitions are organized in football, basketball and volleyball.  At this time the contest was held in basketball. The winner team was awarded with the cup and the certificates.

Reconstruction of the gym of public school №47 was undertaken by Ministry’s Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency. Last year 30 new gyms were constructed and 70 sports halls were renovated in Tbilisi.

Schoolchildren can take various sport classes in these rehabilitated gyms.
