Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and Chairman of the Union of Georgian Education System Employers David Lagvilava signed the memorandum of cooperation. The Memorandum envisages the cooperation on current education reforms between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Union of Georgian Education System Employers.

The members of this union are the principals of the schools, nurseries, vocational institutions. The Memorandum foresees supporting a social dialogue among educational institutions, engaging society in the ongoing educational reforms and enhancing the qualifications of potential employers – the principals of educational institutions.

Within the frame of the memorandum, close ties will be established among different educational institutions, joint   workshops, conferences and seminars will be organized.

Within the scope of the event, presentation of electronic system of financial management of public schools was also held. This system was made by “Singular Group” by the initiative of Union of Georgian Education System Employers. The system is compatible with the information system set up by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and with the data base system elaborated by the Ministry’s National Center for Teacher Professional development.  Electronic system of financial management of public schools will assist the school principals in managing the schools.
