Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Nodar Surguladze awarded the winners of the contest in Physics. The competition was organized by Tbilisi Public School №63 for the schoolchildren of general educational institutions with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
The contest in Physics was structured around the following topics: “Physics Around Us”, “Physics in My Future Profession”, “Physics in Art” and “Physics and Ecology”. The completion aimed at informing the schoolchildren on the current achievements in Physics and assisting them in acquiring the skills and knowledge necessary for solving the everyday problems and mastering the future profession.
Up to 400 schoolchildren from 237 public schools throughout Georgia participated in the contest. 310 contest topics have been presented. 12 best works have been selected by the jury that was composed of the scientists and teachers of Physics of Public School №63.
The author of the winning project was awarded with the personal computer. All participants of the final round were granted with the diplomas and gifts.
