Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini visited construction site of Nokalakevi Public School in Senaki. The Minister got information on construction process from school representatives.
The new school is being constructed by the Education and Science Infrastructure Development Agency and it will be ready for exploitation by the beginning of the new academic year.
The new school will serve about 200 schoolchildren and it will be set with modern classrooms, computer lab, educational laboratories, gym and library. Location of the new school is near the ancient castle “Archeopolis”. The historical importance of the place was taken into consideration while making the draft of the new school and it will fully fit the local landscape.
Improving the school infrastructure as well as building the schools that will be in compliance with modern standards is one of the top priorities of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. “All schoolchildren should have an opportunity to receive the thorough education at the refurbished and modern environment regardless the school. MES actively works on these issue” – announced the Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini.
