Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Irine Kurdadze and Director of National Center for Teacher Professional Development Gia Mamulashvili introduced new Teacher Professional Development Scheme.

The scheme envisages the continuous professional development of teachers. Only certified teachers can join the scheme. In the scope of the scheme different activities such as trainings, seminars, Olympiads, and co-authorization of books are planned.

The teacher professional development scheme has been developed in Georgia for the first time but it is approved method in many countries of the world.
