Winners of National School Olympiad will represent Georgia on 42nd International Olympiad in Physics to be held in Taiwan. Olympiad will be officially opened on July 10th and it will last for 8 days. The participants will deal with theoretical and experimental tasks.
Along with 5 schoolchildren-members of Georgian team, 3 coaches will participate in the Olympiad and make some organizational arrangements for Georgian schoolchildren.
Shota Rustaveli National Scientific Foundation under the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia supported the preparation of schoolchildren for International Olympiads 2011in Mathematics, Informatics and Biology as well as Physics.
All teams have passed special preparation trainings in accordance with standards established by the International Committee.
National School Olympiad initiated by the President of Georgia is carried out by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia for schoolchildren of general education institutions of Georgia. This year unprecedented number of schoolchildren participated in National School Olympiad. Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia supports Georgian schoolchildren’s participation in International Olympiads.
