150 Resource Officers of Educational Institutions from Tbilisi and other regions are taking 2 weeks training course for rescuers at Tbilisi Sea. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and Rector of Police Academy under the Ministry of Internal Affairs Khatia Dekanoidze observed the training process at Tbilisi Sea.
Resource Officers have been selected trainings with their results in different sports. The Resource Officers are trained by the specialists of Rescuers Training Center of Emergency Management Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The Resource Officers learn how to act in case of radiation, chemical and biological pollution and how to avoid water threats. They take rescue courses on river Aragvi and study how to assist people with first medical aid.
Resource officers will be able to help people in any emergency situation including car accident, fire, earthquake, inundation, landslide etc.
