All Resource Officers are taking trainings in different disciplines. They have already passed several-days trainings in psychological issues, academic writing, professional ethics, relations with inclusive children and victims of violence.

Trainings of the Resource Officers of Educational Institutions are organized at Police Academy under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and Rector of the Police Academy Khatia Dekanoidze met the Resource Officers and got familiarized with training process.

As Minister stated, these training courses will help Resource Officers to make their professional activities more efficient.

During the trainings Resource Officers get familiarized with Teachers’, School Principals’ and Schoolchildren’s Code of Ethics and learn records management.

The aim of Resource Officers trainings is to support their professional development. They will be better prepared to handle such things as conflict resolution and prevention.

By the beginning of the New Academic year, all resource officers will have passed the trainings. Later they will take exams and employment contracts of those Resource Officers who will not be able to pass these exams will be terminated.
