On August 29, at 11 am, Primary results of Unified National Exams have been published. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and Director of National Examination Center Maia Miminoshvili held the briefing for the press on this matter.
Information about the primary enrollment to the higher education institutions of Georgia have been posted on the official web-pages of the Ministry (
www.mes.gov.ge) and of the National Examination Center (
www.naec.ge www.online.naec.ge). The results of the entrants enrolled through the educational programs will be posted on the above mentioned web-pages and also published in newspaper “24 Saati”. Subscribers of Magticom, Geocell and Beeline can get information about enrollment via mobile by sending text message with their identification number to number 6232.
34000 entrants took part in Unified National Exams this year, 22236 of them got enrolled. 7% of the entrants could not pass exam in General Skills.
Through secondary enrollment, 10000 entrants have chance to get enrolled in academic programs or to fourth and fifth professional education programs.
1318 entrants got enrolled in professional programs. 424 entrants will be able to take Program for Georgian Language Training. 200 representatives of ethnic minorities got enrolled.
Information about the seats left after the first enrollment will be posted on the web-page of the Ministry on August 31. Entrants can re-apply for those seats from August 31 till September 5.
The application can be submitted at State Technical University in Tbilisi and in Educational Resource Centers in regions.
Those entrants who didn’t get enrolled to any program and had passed minimum competency level in 4 exams for academic programs; in General Skills for the professional education programs or in General Skills for the program for Georgian Language Training will be able to re-apply.
