Minister Visited Rehabilitated Schools of Tsalenjikha
From 2011-2012 academic year, 1700 schoolchildren of Tsalenjikha will continue studying in rehabilitated school buildings. This year, 8 schools of Tsalenjikha have been completely rehabilitated. 7 of them are located at the administrative boarder of Abkhazia. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini got familiarized with reconstruction works at Tsalenjikha schools.
Minister visited Jvari Public School #1, which has been entirely rehabilitated. School infrastructure is fully renovated. School entrance, water closets, classrooms, halls have been reconstructed. New central heating system has been installed.
The school has modern computer lab and library. In the scope of the program “Einstein”, the school is provided with modern laboratory of natural science. From the new academic year, schoolchildren will be able to take practical lessons in Chemistry, Biology and Physics at the new laboratory.
4 new schools are being built in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regions and 42 public schools have been renovated.
