The process of distributing net-books is underway. All school throughout Georgia will be provided with net-books by September 15. 3500 net-books have been delivered to Adjara region and now they are being distributed to all schools of the region.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Giorgi Chakhnashvili attended the process of delivering net-books to Batumi Public School # 10. Deputy Minister also attended the process of teachers’ training in IT.

By the initiative of the President, net-book “Buki” has been created. Educational programs and cognitive games are installed in the net-books. This year, 60000 net-books will be distributed to all 1st graders and their teachers.

In order to effectively integrate net-books in education process, teachers have passes special trainings. As a result of the trainings, teachers are able to prepare lessons and education projects using the information technologies (ICT).
