Up to 700 schoolchildren will study in this modern school, which was built according to international standards. Constructed with the financial support of Geidar Aliev Foundation, the school was supplied with heating and other necessary equipment. The Ministry furnished the class cabinets and provided the school with a Natural Science Laboratory.
On the same day, First Deputy Minister Koka Sepherteladze congratulated the first graders for beginning the school year and distributed primary level Georgian language textbooks.
Karajala School is one of the largest schools in Gardabani. The majority of the schoolchildren take classes in the Georgian language; as for the Azerbajani students, they will begin learning Georgian with the help of the new handbooks.
The above mentioned textbook was designed according to modern teaching and learning standards, as well as interactive methods of language instruction. The textbook is accompanied by audio visual materials and educational computer programs. These materials will be posted on the web site www.buki.ge and will be installed in the net-books given to the first graders.
For the remainder of 2011, textbooks will be used for instructing the 1st to 6th levels. During 2012, the textbooks will be elaborated upon for all levels of primary and secondary education.
