Announcement of the competition for volunteers willing to become teachers
The National Center for Teachers Professional Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has announced a new competition as part of its “induction” program.
The first deputy minister –Mr. Koka Seperteladze and head of the center-Mr. Gia Mamulashvili held special briefing on the conditions of the competition and registration terms.
Any person with higher education, who is willing to carry out
pedagogical activities, can participate in the inductee
competition.
The first stage-registration of the competitors will start on October 17 and
end on October 28, 17:00pm.
The registration of induction
candidates will take place in the resource centers of Tbilisi, Gori, Telavi,
Akhaltsikhe, Kutaisi, Ozurgeti, Zugdidi, Poti, Batumi and Rustavi.
During the second stage of the competition, volunteers will have interviews, which will take place at schools. Inductee will go through 1 year probation period at public and private schools, after which they will be authorized to take a certification exam.
This is the secon announcement for the inductee competition. The program will be implemented in public and private schools of Tbilisi, Gori, Telavi, Akhaltsikhe, Kutaisi, Ozurgeti, Zugdidi, Poti, Batumi and Rustavi this year. Selected candidates will cooperate with mentor teachers and get acquainted with specifics of pedagogical activities. Mentor teachers will receive supplemental allowance in the range of 180 GEL.
