The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkimi, hosted delegation of South African leading TV’s journalists at the Teachers’ House and introduced them to the implemented reforms of Georgia’s educational system.
The State Minister of Georgia in the Diaspora sphere, Mirza (Papuna) Davitaia, invited this delegation of journalists from South Africa.
The media representatives visited laboratories, libraries, conference halls, and training rooms at the Teacher’s House. The Teacher’s House serves teachers 24 hours a day, including providing such support as training programs in professional development and all school subjects. The center also provides financial and legal consultations for school teachers and principals. Furthermore, presentations and discussion forums on the latest publications of educational literature, model lessons, master classes, and online conferences will all be arranged in this new facility.
The journalists from South Africa re creating television specials about Georgia in order to better introduce Georgia and its successful reforms in the educational, economic, business, and tourism sectors to their country.
