Schoolchild of Kvareli Public School №2, Nuki Avazashvili got iPad and cake as birthday presents from the President. Prime Minister Nika Gilauri and Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini personally gave the President’s birthday presents to Nuki. The President met Nuki yesterday while opening the “Geocell” classroom in Kvareli Public School №2.
Today, the Prime Minister held the meeting in this classroom. During the meeting, Mr. Nika Gilauri covered such topics as the budget of education system and ten-section action plan of the Government of Georgia. Nika Gilauri spoke about the new school financing system and current reforms of the educational system.
As the Prime Minister stated, different educational programs that are aimed to improve the quality of education, integrate international standards and modern technologies into the learning process and raise schoolchildren’s motivation will still remain of high importance for the Government of Georgia in the years 2011-2015. The process of Teachers’ certification will continue in the future and certified teachers will be able to receive higher salaries.
