New computer game for the schoolchidren
Deputy Minister, Ms. Irine Kurdadze, introduced a new computer game to the schoolchildren of Tbilisi public school №60. The new game “Art” will be incorporated in school program in parallel with other school programs and will assist the schoolchildren to learn world art and culture.
New electronic game features information on the art and architecture. The schoolchildren can observe original work of arts and architecture and get information on the different trends in the modern art and culture. This game will be supplement to the textbook and will make the process of learning more diverse and interesting.
All schoolchildren irrespective of their age will have access to this new game. Education experts positively evaluated this internet resource.
Introducing an interactive method is one of the main priorities of the current education reform. Ministry is planning to develop computer games in each school subject. This will boost up the children’s learning process. 50 educational games have been developed by the Ministry so far, they are loaded in the netbooks of the first graders. at the same time, all interested persons can have access to these games on the web sites www.buki.ge; www.facebook.ge.
This new electronic game is also posted on the official web site of the Minister, Dimitri Shashkini on Facebook (www. Facebook/Dimitri Sahskini) and anyone can have access to it.
