Winners were declared for a competition of Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis on the subjects of NATO and security issues. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini, attended the event. The two winners of the competition will travel to NATO’s headquarters and, the three finalists received personal computers personally from the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.
The organization “New Generation – New Initiative” implemented the contest with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, and with financing from NATO’s public diplomacy office.
Nine institutions of higher education, totaling thirty students in all, participated in the project. The aim of the competition was to increase the motivation of students interested in NATO and security issues.
Student’s who already have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and defended their thesis about NATO and security issues were able to participate in the competition.
