First Deputy Minister, Koka Sepherteladze opened a new educational institution in the village of Akhuti.
In total, 150 schoolchildren will study in the new school of Akhuti village, Chkhorotsku district. Classrooms, sport hall, library and IT room have been renovated in compliance with international standards. All first graders got the netbooks as gifts from the President of Georgia.
The construction works of the school started in 2010 and was finished on September 20th, 2011.
Upgrading the school infrastructure is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The Ministry strives to provide all schoolchildren with quality education.
