Trainings are conducted at Z. Zhvania School of Public Administration in Kutaisi and are held in the following topics: professional skills, methodology of teaching the Georgian language, bilingual learning, and cultural diversity.
The program “Georgian Language for Future Success” started in September 2011, by the initiative of the President. The aim of the program is to improve the knowledge of Georgian language among the ethnic minorities living in Georgia.
In the scope of the program, 150 native speaker teachers are teaching Georgian language in the schools of Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kvemo Kartli, and Kakheti. Recently, 160 teachers have been recruited to the program. New textbooks have been developed specially for this program for the varying levels of education.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia will fund the M.A studies of B.A participants in the program based on their one year work experience at the schools of the afore-mentioned regions.
Georgian citizens, who are holding a BA degree, are eligible to participate in the “Georgian Language for Future Success” program.
