According to the memorandum, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia takes responsibility to provide the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Employer Organizations with all necessary information about the students involved in the project. The Ministry will also provide information about the available vacancies for interested students. The Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be actively engaged in the project and will offer vacancies to the member companies and individual entrepreneurs.
This memorandum will increase students’ motivation and their creative skills. As a result of this cooperation a competitive environment will be created and the Government will develop bilateral relations with involved companies and individual entrepreneurs. As Kakha Baindurashvili said, it is a great opportunity for businessmen to find appropriate employees.
25,000 students will have the chance to be involved in summer jobs. It covers not only the private sector, but also more than 50 state agencies, such as the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of justice.
Registration is due from March 15 till May 15on the website www.mes.gov.ge.. Jobs will begin on July 15 and will last one month. The salary will be 500 GEL.
