Red Poppy Campaign is underway
Schoolchildren of Tbilisi Public
School #51 joined the Red Poppy Campaign, which has been organized by the Ministry of
Education and Science of Georgia and Publishing House “Prime Time” in
commemoration of fallen soldiers.
As Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Irine Kurdadze stated, the aim of organizing such events in the scope of the Week of Occupation is to fully inform students about Russian aggression against Georgia in 1921 and in 2008.
All schoolchildren of all public schools throughout Georgia will join the Red Poppy campaign and wear red poppy brooches for the whole week.
